Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethern, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things.

A New Year Begins
I haven't taken much time to reflect on the past year, but it sure brought a lot of changes for us! I imagine I've already written here about most of the big stuff, but it's still amazing to think of where the Lord has brought us over the last 12 months. I'm thankful for Mark's doctoral program in BG and all the great people he works with. I'm thrilled with my job and the great colleagues I have. We're also blessed by our families and friends, and by the technology that allows us to stay in touch. While I worry about some uncertainties we face in the coming months, I have certainly seen God's hand in our lives all along. With that in mind, I've chosen Philipians 4:6-8 (NASB) as my first memory verse for this year.
