Countdown

It's hard to believe, but classes begin one week from today. I'll hit the ground running with my 8:30am class. Overall, I feel like I've had a great summer. Still, there's this sad feeling of parting with summer and returning to the real world. Of course, I'm thrilled to be going back to work, too. My task this week is to find a good balance of savoring the last moments of summer and making sure I'm really prepared to get back to school. It has helped to be participating in placement testing for all the incoming international students--we had two days last week and we have two more days this week. It's a bit of a reality check for me, as well as a reminder of the things I love so much about what I do. Anyway, the semester is coming quickly, and it looks to be a busy one!
