Grandparents' Day

According to my little pocket calendar, today is Grandparents' Day. When I noticed this a few weeks ago, I thought it would be a good time to post a quick tribute to my grandparents! In fact, I've been wanting to post a link to this commercial for months now, and this day seemed like a perfect excuse to finally share it. When I first saw it on TV, I thought, hey, these kids know just how I feel about my grandma! (Who, by the way, is one of my most faithful blog readers). I was blessed to grow up with many grandparents and great-grandparents in town. I eventually started to realize that not everyone had that experience. Even now that I'm away from home, I talk to Grandma every week. Although many of my grandparents have now joined Jesus in heaven, they have all played such an important role in my life. I've got great memories, and I'm truly blessed. I feel like nothing I've said here really communicates how I feel, but the commercial does a pretty good job! :-)
