Scenic Cruising: Glacier Bay National Park

For our second day of scenic cruising, we went to Glacier Bay National Park. Around breakfast, we had a few park rangers board our ship so they could tell us all about what we'd see that day. I missed the actual boarding, but Mark took some pics:

Shortly after they boarded, Mark and I caught one of the rangers giving an overview of what we'd see that day. Then, a bit later in the morning, we went to the Princess Theater on board to hear a talk from a different ranger about the area.

An overview of our sailing for the day.

Me with Ranger Catie.

We spent a good part of the day out on the decks watching the amazing scenery.  During the day, we saw four different glaciers: Margerie, Grand Pacific, Johns Hopkins, and Lamplugh. I don't think I can tell which is which in my pics, but we did have a lot of narration on the decks from the rangers, which was really cool. As you can see, we had another beautiful, sunny day!

At the front bow--it was really windy up there!

It was funny to see people in the pool with
glaciers in view! I didn't catch a good pic
with people actually swimming and
laying out to tan, but it happened!
